Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs
680 acres of lush oasis in northwest Las Vegas with fishing ponds, peacocks, ducks, and walking paths. A $6/vehicle fee to enter — and worth every penny.
Floyd Lamb Park feels like a secret that the whole northwest side of Las Vegas has been keeping. This 680-acre oasis is shaded by mature trees, dotted with fishing ponds, and roamed freely by peacocks, ducks, geese, and chickens who have zero fear of humans. Kids absolutely lose their minds over it.
The historic Tule Springs Ranch sits inside the park and offers a glimpse at early Las Vegas life. Walk the paths, fish the ponds (Nevada license required), or just find a shaded picnic table and let the afternoon go. Summer hours are 8am–8pm; winter hours are 8am–5pm. Entry is $6/vehicle — cashless only.
Pro Tips
Bring a debit or credit card — cash is no longer accepted at the gate. A Nevada fishing license is required to fish the ponds. Don't feed the wildlife — it's prohibited and you'll be reminded.
Best Time to Visit
Fall through spring when it's cooler. Morning visits are peaceful — peacocks are most active early.
