Kick off Easter weekend with arts, food, and family vibes
First Friday Art Walk
Start Easter weekend early at First Friday — the monthly Arts District block party. Live music, local vendors, murals, food trucks, and gallery openings across a dozen blocks. It runs late, but kids love the energy and street art. Go early if you have little ones.
Saturday, April 4
6 events across the valley — the big day for egg hunts and spring fun
Easter Eggstravaganza at Pavilion Center Pool
Start the morning early at this beloved Summerlin tradition. The city pool transforms into an Easter adventure — egg hunt, Easter-themed activities, and spring fun for kids. At just $4 a child, it's one of the best value Easter events in the valley. Go early — it wraps up by 10:30am.
Spring Carnival & Egg Hunt — Whitney Ranch
Henderson's Whitney Ranch Recreation Center hosts a full spring carnival alongside its egg hunt. This is a longer-form event — plan for 2–3 hours of carnival games, spring activities, and multiple egg hunts by age group. Register ahead; Henderson recreation events sell out fast.
Lake Las Vegas Easter Egg Hunt
The most scenic egg hunt in the valley — Lake Las Vegas sets up on the gorgeous grass fields along the lakefront. Beautiful backdrop for photos, and the area is shaded by mature trees. The hunt typically runs multiple sessions by age group. Check lakelasvegas.com for the current ticket link.
Town Square Hop & Shop — Easter Event
Town Square's outdoor mall turns into an Easter festival all day Saturday. Free egg hunts run throughout the day (bring your own basket!), plus Easter entertainment, photos with the Easter Bunny, local shopping, and food options. It's one of the most accessible Easter events in the valley — free, outdoors, and runs all day so you can fit it around the morning hunts.
Springs Preserve Butterfly Habitat — Spring Season
The Springs Preserve Butterfly Habitat opens for its spring season on April 4 — perfectly timed for Easter weekend. Walk through the enclosed butterfly garden and watch hundreds of butterflies up close. It's one of the most magical things kids can experience in Las Vegas, and it's only open seasonally. Included with regular admission; members get in free.
Tivoli Village Night Market
Cap off Easter Saturday with the Tivoli Village Night Market. This European-style village turns on its lights as the sun goes down — local vendors, food, live music, and a beautiful spring atmosphere. Free to attend and browse. A perfect wind-down after the morning egg hunts.

Easter morning — church, family, and the legendary Egg Dive
Egg Dive at Heritage Park Aquatic Complex
Easter Sunday's marquee event: the Egg Dive. The pool is loaded with Easter eggs — some floating, some sunk — and kids jump in to collect as many as they can. It's an unforgettable Easter memory. Advance registration strongly recommended; this sells out every year. Check cityofhenderson.com/parks for registration info.
Church Services & Community Egg Hunts
Most Las Vegas families start Easter Sunday morning at church. Check with your congregation for service times — most LDS, Catholic, and non-denominational churches in the valley hold special Easter services. Many local churches also host their own community egg hunts on Sunday afternoon, which don\'t make it onto event calendars but are often the best-attended events of the whole weekend.
After services, the Egg Dive at Heritage Park (1:00–5:00 PM) is a perfect afternoon activity for families heading to Henderson — register ahead.
